speaking of embarrasing

moments...
Saturday, we were going somewhere. I don't remember where, but we were leaving. Petie was outside harassing the birds as per the norm. When he sees us outside, he comes over to us, and is a part of the family. He started rolling around on the sidewalk- you know what I mean, like if you had a cooked spaghetti noodle on the counter in a puddle of water- how they move around. That was him, on the part of the side walk he loves, rolling around looking all cute. Anyhow, is was kind of cold outside, and I did not want Petie to get to cold while we were going to be out, so I called him and I started to walk toward the door, keys in hand. Peite, is quiet often like a dog. He comes when he is called, and meows until he gets to you. I guess he figured he would be smart, and he ran ahead of me. Well, since we were going to leave, we had locked the door. Petie (running and meowing 240) ran right into the closed door. Thump. he took a step back, and sat down. (actually, I think he hit so hard he FELL down, but I won't tell him that) The nosie was so loud, Dana stopped buckling in the kids, poked his head around the door of the truck, and asked what happened, and was I ok.... all I could do was laugh. Poor Petie. - I never said he read the smart book....

To make fun of such a great cat is not nice.
