have you ever been

so proud, you thought your heart would burst? I mean, literally implode? Those of you that know me, know that I am not an overly emotional person. I don't usually cry at the drop of a hat. Ever.
this past weekend, however was an exception.
Alex raced in his first ever pine wood derby for Boy scouts. **sniff**
he has so much fun, it wasn't even funny. He was all dressed up in his class B I believe it is called uniform.
He went into the derby, not knowing what to expect. He won a 1st place ribbon, for most realistic looking car. He took second place in his division, for time. He will be doing to districts. he placed 5th overall!!! Holy moly!!!!!
i love him. I am so proud of him!
